TLS
The TLS torque screwdrivers from Mountz feature a precision radial ball clutch that slips free when the preset torque is reached. This unique design eliminates overtorquing of fasteners. TLS torque screwdrivers are available in various models ranging from 0.7 ozf.in. to 120 lbf.in. The TLS torque screwdrivers are available in four different colors. Color coding of specific torque values allows visual verification in the production area. The TLS torque screwdrivers are bi-directional but may also be ordered with a one-way clutch. The TLS torque screwdrivers can be clean room modified to meet class 100 standards. For medical applications an autoclave version of the TLS torque screwdrivers is available. Designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the accuracy and repeatability requirements of ISO 6789: 1992. Various models that range from 0.7 ozf.in to 120 lbf.in. Precision radial ball clutch "slips-free" when the preset torque is reached preventing over-torquing. Thrust bearings insure that the torque setting is independent of any end load applied by the operator. Tamper-proof internal adjustment. Four different colored lightweight aluminum handles allow color coding of specific torque values in production areas. Can be clean room modified upon request. All models provide by-directional operation. Available with a one-way clutch system so the screwdriver will operate in one direction but lock solid in the opposite direction for easy screw removal. |

Micro-Torque The Micro-Torque externally adjustable torque screwdrivers from Mountz is designed to eliminate the possibility of overtorqued fasteners. The bi-directional cam ``slips-free" once the set torque has been reached making over tightening impossible. Various models ranging from 20 ozf.in. to 80 lbf.in. makes the Micro-Torque ideal for production and field service use. The preferred and certified ranges of these tools is in accordance with the requirements if ISO 6789:1992. Various models that range 20 ozf.in 80 lbf.in. American or S.I. graduated scales. Micrometer style adjustment that allows accurate setting of the tool. Adjustment knob disengages to prevent accidental adjustment. Available in &Mac185;" male square and &Mac185;" female Hex drive Removable sliding T-bar (except MT120 and MT12) provides added leverage where required. Color-coded anodized aluminum handles allow for differentiation of models. The bi-directional cam "slips free" once the set torque has been reached making over tightening impossible. |

TTS The dial indicating screwdrivers are designed for torque evaluation and verification. It can be used to monitor torque as it increases or decreases or display peak torque applied. Dial indicating screwdrivers measure torque through the use of known twisting force needed to distort a torsion bar. The amount of torque applied is measured on a dual dial. This tool can be used in two ways, it can either be set in track mode so it can constantly track the applied torque or set in memory mode, which is done by withdrawing the slider and resetting the bezel ring to zero before using. This tracks the applied torque as before, but leaves the memory pointer at the maximum torque position. The preferred and certified ranges of these tools is in accordance with the requirements of ISO 6789:1992. Various models that range 0 ozf.in 40 lbf.in. Dual American and S.I. graduated scales. Memory system holds maximum torque reached. TT dial indicating screwdrivers can be used to monitor torque as it increases or decreases or to display peak torque applied. Flat tension spring is used to give the best line characteristics in both directions. Especially designed for torque evaluation and verification. Quality constructed with stainless steel shafts, attractive colored aluminum handles and sturdy dials for maximum tool life. Ideal tool for QC, R & D and assembly operations. Corrosion resistant. |

TSN Crafted with seasoned workmanship, the TSN series are designed with a strong corrosion-resistant stainless steel head, protective coated handle and non-slip knurled grip. This easy-to-use and lightweight wrenches is ideal for maintenance and production applications where over-torque conditions are not tolerated. It features models with a torque range from 2 to 90 lbf.ft Designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the accuracy and repeatability requirements of ISO 6789.1992. Non-length dependent. Fully-supported non-strip ratchet. The wrench `slips' free when preset torque is reached, thus eliminating overtorquing. Torque output can be easily adjusted with a Mountz torque analyzer/tester. Strong corrosion-resistant stainless steel head, protective coated handle and non-slip knurled grip. Left-hand, factory preset, and clean room models are available upon request. All models fitted with `double positive' torque adjustment locking system to prevent tampering. |

TCS & TSP With Mountz's TSC and TSP wrenches, torque values can be set to exact figures provided on an easy-to-read micrometer scale. The calibrated tools can be adjusted by unlocking the setting mechanism and turning the handle grip clockwise or counterclockwise, depending upon the setting requirement. Once the preset torque is reached for any application, the wrench disengages and slips free - automatically resetting for the next operation. This ``slip-free" mechanism makes it impossible to over-torque the fastener. Both TSC and TSP wrenches are constructed using aircraft specification, lightweight aluminum handles. Fitted with a comfortable and ergonomic grip, these handles can with stand a variety of damaging chemicals including Skydrol. For close tolerances or difficult access applications, each model has a 1 1/8" (29mm) ball-shaped wrench head made of stainless steel. In addition, all TSC and TSP wrenches come with a 1/4" ``strip-proof" ratchet. TSP wrenches are anodized sleek black and can be set against any master torque calibrator. Both models comply with ISO 6789: 1992 and are supplied with Certificates of Calibration. |
